Whether you choose us for our pediatric specialty or traditional home care services, Anchor’s caregivers set the standard. A handpicked family of skilled professionals, they promise a heightened level of clinical competence and cultural sensitivity, both worthy of a place in your home.
What unites our HHAs, PCAs, RNs, therapists, social workers and nutritionists? We all see care as a team effort. When stepping into your home, we know we are sitting into your family circle. So we involve you in the entire process, ensuring your loved one remains in the care of loved ones.
Anchor is inspired to care for more people at more life stages. That makes us one of the only homecare providers in the nation to serve special-needs pediatric clients—across the five boroughs and Nassau County.
Thanks to our proprietary aide-training program, your family enjoys the care of a PADS certified, individually matched aide. And when facing age-out or transition to facility, we work closely with social workers and MSCs to ensure seamless continuity of care.
Following the home interview, we empower you to select the individual aide(s) that suit you best. Our aide(s) visit your home, offering you the opportunity to interview them, vet them, and determine compatibility with your family. Carefree continuity is another Anchor signature. To ensure nonstop care, we maintain redundant aides and our own transportation fleet. In the unlikely event your caregiver is out of commission, a substitute aide arrives at your door without any service interruption.
As a provider of both Medicaid and private pay services, we maintain relationships with all commercial insurance carriers. This enables us to work with pay sources on your behalf to identify the best billing and/or reimbursement opportunities for you. When serving the geriatric population, we work with long-term care carriers to set assignments of benefits in place, so Anchor can bill your carrier directly and eliminate the need for any out-of-pocket costs to your family.
Anchor’s dedicated, HRA-certified office offers Medicaid application assistance free of charge—a valuable service backed by years of Medicaid experience. We fight on your behalf, even providing attorney referrals when additional help is necessary.
Best of all, you enjoy services immediately. Thanks to our deep understanding of the Medicaid approval system, Anchor begins administering care as soon as your application is pending. And all that at zero out-of-pocket cost to you.
CDPAP is a wonderful program that recognizes that individuals who need help with their physical needs should be allowed the dignity of controlling their own care, or having their representative do so. This boosts their general well-being and mood and minimizes medication errors, falls, and hospitalizations.
